ahh, tuesday (03.11.08)

this morning has been pretty good by all accounts.  i’ve had two good meetings with clients and a cup of tea.  normally,  i drink coffee in the morning, but the band has a show on friday night so i’m drinking tea – you know, got to save the voice.  although i’m now thinking about coffee, so maybe i’ll grab a cup.  what’s the deal with competition in town?  i just got the cold shoulder from somebody because i said i was going to be competing for the same job.  i mean, come on, can we afford to give away every job because it might hurt someone’s feelings?  maybe . . . i really don’t know.  i mean, in a sense, business is business, right?  and if we can do the job better and cheaper (or at least comparable and cheaper), then we should get the gig – no questions asked.  but people don’t always see it that way.  anyway, it should be a good show this weekend.  st. patty’s day is always a pretty good time and we have a bunch of new songs to play (a couple covers and a few originals).  i think i will get that cup of coffee, it sounds so good right now.  talk to you tomorrow.  nate.
