well, well, well

another show this evening.  this time we’re playing at Sammy C’s in Gallup.  we have come to rely on the el rancho for all of our gigs in town, but Sammy asked personally for us to play – so we’re going to.  we are excited, don’t get me wrong, but also apprehensive.  the place is beautiful, great decor, good beers on tap, awesome outdoor patio, etc.  but the floor is a combo of tile and laminate (wood) with no sound proofing on the ceiling and photos and memorabilia gracing every wall – in other words, no sound dampening whatsoever.  this place really wasn’t built for drums, it was built for a singer-songwriter.  but, i’m sure it will go fine, with lots of people enjoying the atmosphere and seeing us in a new place.  well, well, well, it’s almost time to start packing up our gear to bring over there.  i’m on vacation next week – so i’ll try to write this weekend, if anyone actually reads this.  anyway, talk with you soon.  nate.

  1. The show was great! The dance floor was smaller, but we all managed well together! I got a really COOL T-SHIRT! I noticed the band was placed on the shirt “backwards”…a mistake??? Anyway, you should get one to help show your support to this wonderful group that we all enjoy here in this tiny “g” town…and outside of this tiny “g” town! They are good, good, good!
I know one day they will make it BIG with some of the songs they have written…mark my words. I know a good one when I hear one!
